Visiting our rooms

For appointments, please always check your Booking Email for the location, time, referral status, fee informationand other important details.

Bring your child's BLUE BOOK (health record) if your child is seven years or younger.

We have lots of toys and activities and want everyone to be safe, comfortable, and welcome. Please consider the feelings and needs of staff and other visitors, including young children, and use furniture, fixtures and other items with respect and care.

Please take all the time you need, and feel very welcome to feed and settle your baby. We have bathroom facilities for toddlers and a nappy change area.

Please don't bring food or drinks so that we can help avoid allergy and viral transmission risks and keep everything nice and clean. If needed, we can provide a glass of water.

Please do not bring loud games, or any small toys or other items that could pose a choking hazard to small children.

Help us limit infection risks.

Please don’t bring cold, gastro, flu, or other viruses when visiting the rooms. Together, we can significantly limit the spread of infectious illness by:

  • Practising hand, cough and sneeze hygiene when visiting the rooms.

  • Changing to a video appointment, or if this is not possible, rescheduling, when you have any viral symptoms or have had gastro symptoms within the last 48 hours.

Viral illnesses such as Influenza, Gastroenteritis, Bronchiolitis, RSV, Pertussis, and COVID-19 can pose serious health risks for the very young and old and others with compromised immunity.

These illnesses can also severely disrupt and delay services, especially the care of newborns.

Video appointments

Your child’s attendance is required.

This allows your clinician to interact with, assess and examine your child, like they would in a face-to-face appointment.
