Our Consulting Rooms & Facilities
Hours of Opening:
Providers Consult in booked appointments
Providers see their patients in booked appointments during their clinics on business days and occasionally, on Saturday mornings. The Prosper Paediatrics Reception team can help you with requests and bookings for your associated provider, at any time during opening hours.
Our associated practitioners and the Prosper Paediatrics staff are not able to provide emergency or urgent services or responses at any time.
To book an appointment for a current patient, please phone or email the rooms. Your doctor will often recommend that you book one for a review.
To request an appointment for a NEW PATIENT, or a patient that has not been seen for several years, please complete a New Patient Appointment Request Form and provide a referral.
Appointments & visiting the rooms.
Appointments are normally offered in the rooms to allow your doctor
to interact with your child, talk with them, assess, examine, observe and get to know them.
to have a focused, organised and private consultation with you.
to refer to and make organised records of your child’s care and health issues.
Policies for attending appointments and visiting the rooms are summarised in the Booking Email and detailed on the website in the section “For Patients and Families”.
Video Appointments
Sometimes a Video Appointment may be offered instead where this is clinically appropriate. Video Appointments are formal appointments and offered to substitute as closely as possible to an in-rooms consultation.

Each doctor linked on our website here has chosen to establish and conduct their independent practice in association with a group of other independent paediatric specialists at Prosper Paediatrics. Each doctor engages Prosper Paediatrics to provide administration services for their medical practice. As part of these services. we work on behalf of your provider to manage bookings and help with patient requests.
We, the Prosper Paediatrics team, aim to provide a comfortable, functional and family-friendly environment for your doctor’s practice and consultation with you and your child.
If things can be done well and made easier, we will seek to make this so for your doctor and for you, on their behalf.
Your provider is not an employee of Prosper Paediatrics. They conduct their practice independently, with professional freedom and without any financial incentives that may influence their referral to other health professionals. They are free to recommend who is best able to help your child or adolescent whether they are associated with Prosper Paediatrics or are practising in the wider healthcare community of Adelaide or South Australia.
As a group practice and community, Prosper Paediatrics-associated practitioners actively build their knowledge of the best therapists in the wider community so that their referrals will achieve the best outcomes for their patients. Together, in the group practice Prosper Paediatrics community, practitioners can mentor and support each other in their professional development.
Choose and build a relationship with your preferred provider.
Many families have come to our associated providers through word of mouth.
The associated doctors value continuity of care and aim to build a relationship with you and with your child. If your preferred provider is unavailable, or has a long waitlist, they will ask a Prosper colleague to act as locum. Sometimes your preferred or requested doctor may feel that a colleague’s practice scope is a better fit for your child’s needs or has better availability and will be happy to recommend seeing them instead. Their number-one priority is the best interests of your child.
The various associated providers’ web pages can be accessed here.
Your GP can also help you choose providers best suited to your child’s needs.
