You will enjoy high levels of support from our administrative team, IT systems, digital resources, forms, handouts, and templates. Our systems are expertly designed and administered to ensure medico-legal compliance, allowing you to focus genuinely on clinical work.
Our administrative team are hired for their high levels of competence and their big hearts.
Our management team is highly experienced, with combined competencies in law, health economics, design, education, IT, paediatric medicine, and their application to specialist paediatric healthcare administration and private practice management.

Neonates and a Healthy Work-Life Balance?
Yes, it is possible with Prosper Paediatrics.
Prosper Paediatrics supports and administers a mutually agreed shared cover arrangement for out-of-hours attendance needs at several private hospital maternity services in SA for and on behalf of our associated neonatal care paediatricians. The arrangements are grounded in the friendship and cooperation of these pediatricians and in their commitment to ensure prompt, reliable cover and attendance whenever needed.
The excellent reliability of neonate coverage, made possible with Prosper Paediatrics' support, is welcomed by referring obstetricians, hospitals, and midwives.
The cover arrangement also allows the effective balancing of neonatal practice with other commitments. Hence, a neonates practice is a viable option for those with family or other professional responsibilities when conducted with the services of Prosper Paediatrics.
Prosper is highly skilled and experienced in the special complexities of neonatal care billing.
If you have or are acquiring recent experience working with neonates, enjoy cooperation in a shared-cover arrangement and are keen to keep babies and newborns in your practice, then please arrange to speak with the practice director and with the associated paediatricians and neonatologists currently working in neonates. Neonates are definitely doable even for part-timers and those with young-family responsibilities, and brings great professional satisfaction and rewards to providers.
Prosper Paediatrics provides administrative and billing support to our associated paediatricians care of approximately 1,400 neonates per year. We are truly experts in this niche area of private practice.
Prosper Paediatrics loves neonates. Supporting families' healthcare journeys from the first obstetrician referral through any need that may arise and perhaps until entry into adulthood is a privilege and a joy we never take for granted.
Medical Student Placements.
Experience and learn with a mix and variety of clinical experiences, practice styles and environments in public and private settings.
The experienced doctors and allied health providers who consult at our clinics enjoy and practice clinical teaching. They can share their clinical skill and experience as well as the challenges and ups and downs of paediatric practice. A mix of clinical opportunities, contexts and practice styles will be available. Experience in private neonates, private clinics, rural outreach, public clinics, and ward work may be available to proactive and enthusiastic students as appropriate. Placements organised through us also enable students to get a feel for the practicalities of private practice, equipping them with the knowledge needed to more confidently structure a satisfying and rewarding professional life when moving towards their fellowships.
Please note our clinicians are unable to take school-aged work experience students.
