Dr Briest is a Paediatric Neurologist. He sees babies, children, and adolescents up to 18 years of age for neurological concerns, including headaches, tics, seizures, epilepsy, or where developmental delay may indicate a possible neurological component or cause.
He understands the impact a neurological condition can have on children and families and enjoys working with them to understand their diagnosis and help improve their lives.
He will work with and provide a management plan to your child’s GP or paediatrician.
His practice does not offer Nerve Conduction Testing.
Consulting days:
Except when taking leave and on public holidays, he consults privately at Prosper Paediatrics, Toorak Gardens, generally on most Fridays.
He has asked Prosper Paediatrics to be his Reception and Admin Team. They can be contacted to manage any requests for me during business days each week. I have engaged Prosper Paediatrics to provide administrative services and facilities to my independent private practice.
Dr Briest’s books are now closed to new referrals.
He is very heavily booked and is now reducing his private consulting days due to increased commitments in the Neurology Department of the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Contacting or booking appointments with me:
His reception team, Prosper Paediatrics, can be contacted during business hours. They will advise Dr Briest of any requests or issues and assist him in managing these and his appointment bookings.
